Impressions
„Volar“ Leon Löwentraut presents his spectacular art installation - interactive, immersive - as well as new works in Salzburg
"I do not pay attention to what others praise or accuse. I simply follow my own feelings." (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart)
What does an artist feel when he paints? For Löwentraut, painting feels like flying - to make this experience tangible, students from the Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences, together with the artist, developed the special experience "Volar," where visitors can analogously and digitally experience this feeling. Immersive. Interactive. Informative. Inspiring.
For the first time, visitors can empathize with the artist's creative flow and immerse themselves in his emotions. We cordially invite you to the exhibition opening on Friday, July 1, 2022, at 3:30 PM at the Salzburg Baroque Museum in the Mirabell Garden. "Volar" (Spanish: to fly) is an emotional special installation created in collaboration with the Masterclass of the "Virtual Design" program at the Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences, along with professors Matthias Pfaff and Christtian Schmachtenberg and Leon Löwentraut. The 24-year-old artist had a teaching assignment at the Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences during the winter semester 21/22. The theme: "Future Exhibition Design."
