Leon Löwentraut - 2nd solo show
Leon rocks Zurich
A huge crowd in Zurich's historic Oberdorf: more than 330 art lovers came to the opening of the 2nd solo show by young artist Leon Löwentraut at the WOS gallery and the Grossmünster chapel opposite to see the latest works by the artist, who was born in 1998.
"BOLD" is the title of the exhibition, and the name says it all: Löwentraut's colorful works and his personality inspire the art-loving public.
Gallery owner Daniel Wahrenberger emphasizes: "When we saw Leon's paintings in the original for the first time, we were blown away. You can see and feel the energy and dedication with which he paints his pictures, how much power and skill they contain."
Claudius Ochsner, who runs the gallery together with Wahrenberger and Thomas Schafflützel, adds: "We are delighted to present Leon Löwentraut's work to a wide audience with the "BOLD" exhibition. Broad also because Leon inspires a younger audience for art." Thomas Schafflützel adds: "The response has exceeded our expectations."
A total of 40 new works by Leon Löwentraut are on display, including a selection of his famous charcoal drawings and stainless steel sculptures.
The exhibition can be visited until April 2, 2024.
